This unused, mint condition pillow sham or cover was a souvenir of Yellowstone National Park from the 1940s to mid 1950s. You just slip a square pillow form inside from the back for a nice throw pillow. There's a little second hand shop in Wyoming with several of these pillow covers framed on their walls, another good way to display them.
The pillow cover is about 14" diameter including the red silk or rayon fringe - it will take a 10 to 11 inch square foam or stuffed fabric insert. The shiny light blue rayon satin fabric is decorated with screen printed images from Fishing Bridge, Lower Falls, Tower Falls, bison, deer, and a bear surrounding Old Faithful Geyser and the words "Souvenir of Yellowstone National Park. Airbrushed shaded color tinting has been applied in pink, green, and yellow. The cover is in perfect, mint condition.
