This all-metal Western themed mantle clock was made by United Clock Company in the late 1930s to early 1940s and was purchased from a Montana estate. The horse and clock casing are cast brass, mounted on a wooden base. A pistol, boots, rope lariat, and cowboy hat are cast at the front of the clock. Length of the base is 17" long, height is 10-3/4" to the top of the horse's ears.
The clock does not run though the hands move fine via the back knob and the cord is intact. There is some light staining to the bottom area of clock face. The wooden base is warped. The clock face says Windsor Self Starting and at the bottom Gibraltar Mfg Co Inc., Jersey City N.J.
