This pretty little opal milk glass vase was made in the 1930s by Consolidated Glass Company. The attractive bulbous ribbed shape was used in their Catalonian line, and the painted violets decoration was used extensively in the later milk glass Con Cora line.
The vase measures 3-3/4 inches high and is 3-1/2" diameter at the rim. It has no chips or cracks though there is wear to the gold decoration around the rim as shown. The hand painted violets design is signed with the artist's initials MD or JD.
