A pair of sweet ceramic Christmas angel candlesticks, made by Holt Howard in 1958. About 4-1/2 inches high, the angels were called Ermine Angels by the company due to the lavish gold-trimmed spaghetti fur trim on their hoods, cuffs, and coats. One angel has her hands warming in a muff, the other holds a pair of red Christmas bells. Both have slightly bowed heads, rosy cheeks, and closed eyes with lush painted eyelashes.
The original foil HH Japan foil labels are on the bottoms along with the stamped marks "© 1958 Holt Howard". There's a little cold paint wear to the red bells, otherwise they're in good condition with no chips or cracks.
