These are so rich and beautiful in person, and so hard to get good photographs of, but we'll put these up and try to get some better ones to trade out. The layered 'sandwich' glass is a pearlescent and stunning old glass. I'd have thought French, but someone wrote us to say they thought they were Webb. These are a pair of wonderful old hand blown art glass vases, very like Webb glass, we're told, though we aren't certain of the origin or maker. We're certainly not pricing them as Webb, so if they turn out ot be, or you're an expert and know for sure, they're going to be a great bargain. They're definitely early, have an unpolished early pontil, and a couple of tool marks in the old glass on each one (see detail), which add immensely to their appeal and charm. White pearlescent glass appears to be quilted or layered, and is rather thick. Beautiful!
Very good to excellent condition, with no chips or cracks at all. As original, very fine!
