Elegant antique French hallmarked vermeil or 18k gold on sterling silver 4pc condiment and/or hors d'oeuvres serving implement set with Classical acanthus accented pattern, wonderful condition and in the original gilt embossed storage and/or presentation case! A beautiful set! Small pieces consisting of a pate scoop, spoon, fork and tongs. All bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within those marks designate them as being in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for sterling silver). Silversmith marks are for Eugene Quielle, Paris late 1800s. The box has a label on the inside of the lid that reads "Ances Mons Barillot & Ponti-Jugnet, Ponti Freres Succ., 26 Rue De La Republique, Lyon". A wonderful set, one you'll love to get out and use at every occasion.
Very good-excellent condition. No damage to note though there are a few spots of vermeil wear in places. The box has some surface marks but is, as you can see, in great shape with age considered. See pictures for weights and measurements.
