Elegant antique Minton marked 10pc 10 1/4" dinner sized plate set with ornate gold frieze style patterned borders and interlaced raised gold "LRT" monograms! Nothing overly frilly here, just gorgeous in their elegance & simplicity. Setting a beautiful table is an art form, and it's made simpler if you have some gorgeous old plates sets you can mix/match and stack to go along with your fine cooking. In fact, if you're like me, no matter what your cooking skill level is, people seem to think you're a good cook if the love the way the table looks. Go the extra mile! All bear the Minton, England maker mark on the back, along with impressed or stamped marks in the porcelain. Hard to photograph but, as you can see in the images, they are the Minton date marks for 1911. A beautiful set of ten and guaranteed to please the senses!
Very good-excellent condition. No chips, cracks or crazing to any of the ten. Hardly a sign of wear to the gold enamel, if any, as you can see. All gorgeous and in superb shape.
