A mourning necklace of facet-cut jet beads that range from 5mm to 13mm and have a lovely graduated drape to the various length 4 strands, as well. This is a substantial and lovely old necklace of fine quality and in fine condition - wearable and lovely to display. The 4 strands are evenly spaced. Our photographer (a man) says he just has no idea how to show such items. So please imagine it hanging in drape fashion on a lovely neck, the smaller length is 15.5" and the longest being 23" - the other 2 evenly spaced between. Gorgeous! I have tested the clasp, suspecting it might be gold and it does test at 10K. I think it is an English necklace, though I purchased it in France.
Very good to excellent condition throughout. There are no broken or cracked beads, all nicely faceted and reflective in light. As always, your satisfaction is guaranteed. We know it's not easy to buy jewelry online, and we always accept returns should it not fit or look as you'd like on your own neck.
