I'm going to include a photo I took of a museum display case that shows some of these superb 1700s French patch or snuff boxes, just to underline the fact of them being truly 'museum pieces'. We've been fortunate to acquire some fabulous antique shell pieces. This box is a beauty! With very light loss to the gold pique work, visible in our images, and only a nibble or two to prevent it from being pristine, it's survived over 200 years in quite fine form. Nice sized, you'll love grouping these in your own museum collection.
Very good condition, as noted above and in our images.
