Elegant old 19th century liqueur stand and complete service and in superb condition for serving your own guests. We have a variety of these wonderful old sets and it's been fun to bring them out for the traditional pre-dinner aperitif with friends, guests. Also love them for a topper of some spectacular French liqueur at the end of the meal. Just a necessity if you ask me. This one is rather informal and fun. I am unsure which maker this one came from. Very good to excellent condition - It's in pristine condition, first off, which is rare to find. All of the glass is hand/mouth blown and hand enameled and remains as elegant as can be. Six cups in all, and the barrel-influenced decanter remain with the original hinged-handle serving stand. I am unsure of the metal. A heavy pressed brass alloy. It also has wrought iron for a nice look and the handle looks like copper. Quite lovely. The spigot will work and stopper is in place, too. The raised enamel on each piece is in fine form, as well. The overall measurement is 7.5" square for the rack, and it rises 9" in height. Other measurements can be found on our photos. I'd guesstimate this to be c.1900-1910. The barrel sets always remind me of the older c.1850s Blackamoors and whimsical animals we all love so and which are so difficult to find.
Our photos are large and clear. We do expect our customers to review them all, evaluate the item based on both our description and our images. Thanks for all the compliments - we love what we do! Antiques & Uncommon Treasure - all the best, all the time!
