Victorian Beaded Needlepoint Panel, 1850s Fraternal or Religious SashVictorian Beaded Needlepoint Panel, 1850s Fraternal or Religious Sash

Not sure just what this panel was intended to become, but it has the distinct look of a fraternal order sash or belt (large!). Seems to me someone told us that the four 'F' stood for such things as 'Fidelity', etc., etc., and was a religious or fraternal insignia from Germany. Experts? Would, however, be a wonderful panel to incorporate into the top of a fine down-filled & opulently fringed accent/throw pillow for your home.

Excellent condition! Never made up, so it hasn't any beadwork or woolwork losses. A fine old tapestry panel! Great colors, too.
