These actually do match that fabulous Moser engraved ruby glass absinthe service we have listed separately, but we thought it best to offer them on their own in case someone just wants either of the parts from the grouping. This offering is for the 2 matching raised plateau or compote, bonbon dishes. A matching pair, they represent the height of mastery of the genre. Ruby or claret colored red glass over clear glass, wheel engraved in a rich decorative overall design that rather boggles the mind, it is so intricate and perfectly accomplished. Beautifully preserved, these will serve you well at table when they're not on display in your lighted vitrine. I can envision them in any number of settings and I'm sure you will, as well. Fabulous work!
Very good to excellent condition throughout. I find not a single nip or chip anywhere and no cracks or hairlines. Not even much rub or wear on the ruby flashing, and the intricacy of the wheel etching is top quality on these. None finer. You will have 2, the pair, as you see in our image. We do have a matching absinthe service shown with this set in our final photos that is engraved with the same pattern, by same artist, but that set is offered separately.
