A fine set of 6 hand painted cabinet or fish service plates, 9.5" in diameter, from the Limoges, France company, Ballery Freres (Brothers). The mark shown on each plate and the matching sauce boat was used between 1908 and 1937, so antique to vintage for this set. They are each signed by the artist, Colom. Rimmed in gold, they're a beautiful set for decorating or to set and lift for fish course (please don't serve on these, there's not a single utensil mark so far). Sauce boat is included as the 7th piece in the set.
Very good to excellent for age and type. I see no damage beyond the light loss of the gold that rims the plates. No utensil marks, no chips or cracks or hairlines.
