Huge & HEAVY! Here we have a fine vintage Italian hallmarked 11" coffee or tea pot with seashell shaped medallions on the sides, ornate spout, large solid silver finial and solid carved mahogany handle! Not quite as old as we normally offer, this one dates to around the mid 1900s we think judging from the hallmarks. The tiny lozenge shaped mark was used in Italy between 1934-1968 but I honestly don't know more about them or how to narrow down the dates. I do know that the "925" stands for .925 sterling silver, the other markings are a mystery. In any event, you have a beautiful large piece here and surprisingly heavy, it weighs 40.2 troy ounces or 1250 grams! Lovely, guaranteed to please.
Very good-excellent condition. I'm sure it could dent :) but he silver is really so thick it would be a task. As you see in the images, there are no dents, no damage or repairs to note. See pictures for all measurements.
