Elegant antique Gorham sterling silver 10" x 7" vanity, perfume or calling card tray with gadrooned bordering, large engraved monograms on top & bottom and 1902 dedication! The Gorham hallmarks date the piece to 1908 but the engraving reads 1902, perhaps a post-dated gift :). The initials on the top and bottom are the same safe for one letter so it's likely a 'his & hers' engagement, wedding or anniversary gift (though the silver anniversary is the 25th, which doesn't really work into the dates either). Perfect for a fine set of antique perfume bottles, vanity jars etc. in the guest or master bath OR, even for a smaller liqueur or tea service! Don't miss it!
Very good condition. Just as you see it, polished to a high luster and free from the usual surface scuffs or scratches. There are three small upward dimples, shown in the images, and one or two other tiny dings. See pictures for measurements.
