Elegant antique French sterling silver 2pc ice cream or dessert serving utensil or implement pair, both with ornate acanthus accented handle pattern and 18K gold vermeil on the engraved bowl & blade! Aren't these beautiful! Larger than average, too, with the 'knife' piece measuring an impressive 11 1/4" in length! Exceptional! Both pieces bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within those marks means they're in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for 'sterling' silver). The silversmith marks are for Henri Soufflot, Paris circa 1884-1910. Beautiful, don't miss them!
Very good to excellent condition. Possibly very slight wear to the vermeil along the edges and light surface scuffing to the handles. No dents, bends, damage or repairs to note. See pictures for measurements.
