I recently bought an entire collection of wonderful antique tortoise shell hair combs, ornaments, tiara combs and this beautiful ornamental pick comb is a lovely one! There are, admittedly, a few missing 9k gold (tested) pique 'pins', it's truly something special. Makes me wish I had long thick beautiful hair to pull back and make use of these beautiful vanity items, but alas, they are for those of you who do, and only for me to enjoy in passing. Don't miss them. We can never seem to keep them in inventory, and it's either feast (as now) or famine (as soon).
Very good condition, with little, if any, damage visible on the fully arched old comb or pick, and just a few missing 9k yellow gold pique pins to keep them from being excellent. The tines are slightly blunted at the tips, and are in contrasting blond tortoise shell. The matrix appears to be attached by adhesive, and is very sturdy. No hinge on this one, however. We've sanitized these items; they're ready for you to use and enjoy, and pass along as heirlooms for another century or so.
