A lovely older bracelet both stamped and tested at 14k yellow gold, the bracelet's clasp is a jeweled one, set with a facet-cut garnet (we think - it might be a ruby, we are not certain so will say garnet). The bracelet has a 14k gold guard chain, and clasped, it will fit no larger than a 5.5" wrist size. Made for a child, we think, or a very dainty wrist. Lovely "something old" for a bride, or a fine treasure for a new graduate, or favorite child or grandchild. It will come in a nice presentation box, as shown, but the box is new and suitable for gifting, and is not antique nor vintage.
Very good condition, no missing or damaged pearls and the set gem is lovely, no chips. The gold is tested and confirmed, as well as stamped with the "585" mark indicating it is 14k solid gold. The color of the gold is yellow. There is a marked spot where it is evident under close inspection that someone has probably reduced the size or made a repair to the old intricately interlaced chain. A fine bracelet, a dainty wrist per Edwardian and early 20th c. ladies. Weight is 8.45 grams.
