Here we have a fine 4pc set of antique French sterling silver handled serving implements with Classical or Empire style pattern and acanthus accented brass bowls. All matching but, as you can see, missing a few pieces from being complete. These serving sets usually include a meat carving knife & fork and generally a 4pc hors d'oeuvre set. Included here are the meat fork and two condiment pieces (pate knife and reticulated spoon) and also the unique addition of a larger gravy or sauce ladle. All handles bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within those slightly obscured marks means they're in .950 silver (95% pure). Of course, they're filled and not solid sterling silver. The fork has the original steel tines and all other pieces have brass bowls and blade. Missing some pieces and the low price reflects that. Don't miss them.

Good condition. Extensive light dimpling to the sterling handles and some dings to the gravy ladle bowl. See pictures for weights and measurements.
