Lovely antique English Victorian era sterling silver & electric blue glass finger bowl or ecuelle with pierced or reticulated figural mascaron style side handles and wonderful condition! A lovely little single serving bowl, most likely for porridge but the uses are really only limited by your imagination. Have a smaller glass dish full of caviar resting inside with ice chips filling the bowl.., yogurt with granola and a cup of coffee to spoil yourself in the morning. Also great for condiments on the formal dining table. A great way to add the elegance of antique sterling silver but also the splash of color from the electric blue swirled glass bowl! The silversmith mark is mostly illegible but the London date mark is for 1894.
Very good condition. No chips or cracks to the glass, possibly a tiny nip or two to the base. No damage or repairs to the sterling silver collar or handles. See pictures for all measurements.
