Elegant antique French sterling silver & cut glass 4pc open salt set with an ornate Louis XVI or French Empire style including bows & ribbons, floral & foliate accenting and immense visual appeal! The sterling is simply gorgeous! Detailed exterior with a high polished shine, the insides in what is most likely 18k gold vermeil and al in great shape. Unfortunately, two of the glass inserts have repaired breaks and some chipping to the rim but they're original and still in fine working, usable order. All bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within those marks means they're in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith marks are for Gustave Veyrat, Paris circa 1894-1911.
Good to very good condition. As noted above an on the pictures, two of the glass inserts have repaired breaks and some rim chipping. Possibly a few nips on the rims of the other two but all are in usable condition. See pictures for all measurements.
