Stunning in quality, condition and aesthetic, this is a full perfect set of men's jewelry for tux and formal wear. You see 14k yellow gold and fine worked mother of pearl combined in this set of cufflinks and shirt studs, all nicely kept in their original presentation case. The typical gold standard for 19th century French gold is 18k, but these test 14k. The box tells us they were originally sold in Caen, and the French jeweler was Danquelin. Even the old box is immaculate (forgive the little white dust showing on that royal purple velvet pad. I'll have it tape-pulled for our buyer, of course. The outer case is leather clad, very nice!
Very good to excellent condition throughout. No chips, no damage, appear to have been seldom (if ever) used or removed from this original presentation box. Superb set. Measurements are noted directly on our photos.
Our photos are large and clear. We do expect our customers to review them all, evaluate the item based on both our description and our images. Thanks for all the compliments - we love what we do! Antiques & Uncommon Treasure - all the best, all the time!
