What a beauty, and set in heavy 14k to 15k yellow gold mount with long stick pin. A large brooch-sized top. This could have been used for a gentleman's cravat or lapel or tie, or for a woman's cape or scarf. A beautiful Roman white dove, likely Grand Tour souvenir with spiritual leanings, representative of the rising spirit of Jesus in resurrection, often depicted as a white dove. Made in the Etruscan style, it has one tiny spot where a couple of the tiny glass tesserae are missing. I've marked that spot with an "x" on our images.
Very good to excellent condition with exception of a couple of tiny tesserae missing, noted with an "x" in our images. The gold has been acid tested at 14k, but I think it's more likely 15k (we don't have acid for 15k). Weight and measurements are noted on the photos.
