I'm listing several really wonderful late 1800s to early 1900s artist's boxes with paints and palettes - look for them all, sold separately.
Reeves & Sons, Ltd., London, England: With a host of 18 small ceramic color pots of water colors and a ceramic mixing palette, several tubes of watercolor and a variety of little extras, this British watercolorist's paint box is a fabulous one to either use or display. There is a working latch there to secure the lock so you can, essentially, lock the mahogany casket.
Very good condition for an antique set. Palette isn't damaged, though the set is used and shows use. There is a glass panel cut to size and which covers the color pots, protecting them and also making it a nice box for display in a store window, perhaps. latch works in the closure.
Antique French sterling silver, Georgian jewelry, sewing, Black Forest, etc 17th to 19th c. European
