Fantastic old pieces taken from French settee, these mustard and blue beauties are so French it almost shouts! Worked in wool on linen, they are remarkably vibrant still, with no evidence of fading of the dyes on the old wool. There is a spot that can be cut away or can be repaired, which is a slit on each to accommodate something on the old settee - an arm, something. The pieces are each about 15" x 10" roughly, and would be fantastic used as panels in a pair of matched accent pillows, down-filled and opulently fringed, perhaps on silk ground or even a great old coordinating toille fabric. Can't you just see them now!
Good to very good condition, all flaws visible in pics. One white line across center of one panel is only a piece of yarn from another fragment, not a tear.
