Fabulous antique French sterling silver 4pc hors d'oeuvre or condiment serving implement set with foliate acanthus accented pattern, hallmarked sterling silver blades, tines & bowls and ornate reticulated accenting! The handles and blade, bowls & tines, etc. bear the post-1838 French Minerve or Minerva hallmarks, the tiny number "1" marking within designates them as being in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith marks are most likely for Etienne-Auguste Courtois, Paris circa 1834-1847. A gorgeous set, great additions to your existing fine sterling silver table service!
Very good condition. There is some faint scuffs and tiny dimpling to the handles but no notable damage or repairs. The fork tines are slightly imperfect. See pictures for weights and measurements.
