Elegant antique French Belle Epoque era sterling silver coffee or tea pot and covered sugar PAIR, each with with baluster shaping and acanthus accented decoration, the pot with ebony or ebonized wood handle and long acanthus accented spout and BOTH in wonderful condition! A fine pair here! Nothing too frilly, each adorned with fluted bands around the center of the bodies and both with an acorn style finial. Thick, heavy old French sterling silver and made to last in style! All separate pieces (lids, bodies & bases) bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within those marks means they're in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). Silversmith marks are for Henin & Company (Cie.), Paris circa 1896. A beautiful pair and both in superb condition, don't miss them. We also have one of the finest online collections of French sterling silver (and it's always growing) so be sure to browse some while you're with us. Thanks!
Very good-excellent condition. Thick and heavy so there are no dents, damage or repairs to the sterling bodies. Both pieces in remarkable condition given their age. See pictures for capacity, weights and measurements.
