The perfect flask to tuck into your purse, ladies, or into your vest pocket, gentlemen. It still has its interior original stopper, the shot cup that slips off the bottom of the elegant old glass body of the Art Nouveau era flask. I love these! Out for a celebration that includes Champagne, but no one knows how to make a Kir Royal? Tuck this into your purse with Cassis and you've got about 4 servings/champagne along to make your own at table. LOVE those Kir Royals! People sometimes refer to this as a cologne bottle, but of course it's not. The cup on bottom helps explain its intended use. Measurements are on the photos. French Minerve, control mark for .950/1000 pure silver, the highest sterling standard in the world - French, post 1838 mark, but this flask dates earliest 1900s.
Very good to excellent condition throughout. No hairlines or cracks in that neck (sometimes hidden by the silver collar), and all pieces are intact and lovely for age. A little push perhaps on that lovely cap, nothing bothersome. It's one to admire and also to use! Stopper in place, these are just so elegant, aren't they!
