Fine early 1900s English or French Edwardian era 14" solid oak tantalus with brass accents, upper compartment & lower hidden drawer and three heavy cut glass decanters! Just a truly remarkable display piece, very country English or French and a below reasonable price!! Solid oak with a wonderful lighter finish and an arts & crafts feel to it. All of the metal, i.e. locking mechanism and strap accents, are brass. HUGE at just over 14" wide and a truly magnificent addition to any bar area, office or study decor!!
Good condition. There are a few things, first of all the decanters are later replacements, not really a negative thing since they're new, unused and safe as opposed to some of the earlier crystal decanters that we wouldn't recommend using. The upper compartment is missing the inner partitions, the lock and key work but the lids have broken off lock pins so they don't actually lock. The lower drawer, released by the button under the top lids, works just fine but is also missing the inner partitions. The mirror in the back has some spots to the silvering but is intact. Finally, the partitions between the decanters have been removed. Not sure why but the decanters all fit perfectly. See pictures for all measurements.
