Wonderful antique French sterling silver 1 7/8" napkin ring, 95% pure silver with ornate guilloche style machined pattern including scrolling vines, flowers & foliage encircling a cadrooned band and engraved "CA" or "AC" monogram in a unique banner shaped medallion! Marked with the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, 1st quality for .950 silver content (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith mark is for Louis Coignet, Paris circa 1889-1893.

Very good condition. Weighs 38 grams, built to last (as it has for its 100 or so years), great condition as you can see from the images. Some surface scuffing, a bit of visible tarnish on the ring edges, but it's in wonderful shape. See pictures for measurements.
