One of my favorite room accent furniture pieces, these small French wall cabinets (hang rather than sit on countertop, though it will work that way, too). I have a smaller one installed in one bathroom in our other home and just love it. It's probably the oldest thing in that old limestone home, since these cabinets date to circa 1770-1830 (Napoleon I or Georgian era). This one is much larger than my other one, at 26" tall, and I'm trying to find the right spot to put it to use, so don't buy it too quickly. These are just impossible to find anymore. The one we're offering here is a gorgeous old thing! French Country in style, it is a walnut beauty with hand carved accents. You can see in my final (really bad) photo, the way we've used one of these in one of the bathrooms in that old house of mine. I love the look, love the age and charm of these cabinets. The old wood is superb, begs to be touched, and has a fine condition overall.
Very good to excellent for age and type, this is a late 1700s to early 1800s French cabinet. There has been a hanging hole cut in the center of the top of the back panel and a split on the left side of the backing. Looking at the back of the piece, you san see some old wood worm holes on the right side (second to last image). A small chip to the backing on the right side, top and bottom corners. The final photo shows a much smaller one of these old French cabinets that is dated 1700s in the carving, and is in place in one of our own bathrooms in our 2nd home. It's shown only to give you an idea of how you might hang this one. See pictures for all measurements.
