A superb set of 19th century French candelabra, 3 branches each, mounted with florals and leaves and in the arms of a brilliantly sculpted putti. Elevated by the appliqué-draped alabaster plinth, and also 4 dore bronze feet on each. We've shown them well in our photos. They're fabulous for either mantel or table, and truly do not have any flaws to note. The cups are made to look a bit like roses, and the leaves are rose leaves, a few buds interspersed. Ribbon and bow with garland drapes the plinth and further trim echoes the gold against white. Lovely set - you are buying 2, an original pair.
Very good to excellent condition, no chips nor cracks in the alabaster, and no breaks or loss (none I can find) on the dore bronze upper portion of the design. Very Louis XVI, and elegant as can be. They are approximately 14.5" tall, about 8.5" across the branches and rise from a 4" squared alabaster base.
Our photos are large and clear. We do expect our customers to review them all, evaluate the item based on both our description and our images. Thanks for all the compliments - we love what we do! Antiques & Uncommon Treasure - all the best, all the time!
