Superb antique English Victorian era cruet stand, pristine silver plate and large carved center, in full Victorian splendor with four original matching wheel cut glass service pieces! A most interesting and spectacular old Victorian English cruet service, complete and marked only to show that it is silverplate (EPNS). Heavily quad-plated, it has a brilliant silver patina and one only sees a bit of undermetal showing at the bottom of base, likely where it has been scraped for testing. A most appealing and rather masculine set – and complete with stoppers, silver caps, bottles and loads of Victorian charm!
Very good condition, and 19th century aesthetic and appeal. The two vinegar decanters' stoppers do not match and appear to be replacements and there is a small amount of bubbling to the silver plating. See pictures for measurements.
