Lovely vintage 1945 Gorham hallmarked sterling silver salt & pepper shaker pair, elegant baluster shaping with spiral fluted collars & turned style finials! We're more know for our fine antique French sterling silver but do love some of the Gorham works and here's a wonderful treasure. Gorham has specific date marks that you can find online the small number "5" inside a square shape is for 1945. Also, the styling of the hallmarks under the "Gorham" marking are 20th century. I'm also listing a fine little sugar bowl or caviar serving dish today in the exact same pattern, they'd go great together so be sure to take a peek while you're with us. Very good condition. They're actually nicely sized at just under 5" tall and have a total weight of just under 5 troy ounces. One of the pair has two faint dimples near the lower curved portion of the body. See pictures for measurements.
