Possible LeGras, possible Mont Joye, and perhaps St. Louis, this exquisite carafe in heavy French cranberry glass has an Art Nouveau feel to the hand painted enamel in heavy gold and silver that decorates it. One of my favorites, but I can't keep them all. Sigh.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, no chips or cracks, no hairlines. The enamel work is in very good condition, as well. Interesting elongated form, look at photos to see that it's more an oval than round. 9.25" tall, and stunningly beautiful at table or display. Use at table or bedside for water, wine, or even as a flower vase.
Our photos are large and clear. We do expect our customers to review them all, evaluate the item based on both our description and our images. Thanks for all the compliments - we love what we do! Antiques & Uncommon Treasure - all the best, all the time!
