Elegant antique French sterling silver 2 1/8" napkin ring, 95% pure silver with unique rounded shaping, thick & heavy with a raised or applied floral accented medallion and interlaced “GC" monogram! Stamped with the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within that mark means it's "1st quality" for .950 or better silver content (at least 95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith mark is for Adolphe Boulenger, Paris circa 1876-1899, a successor of the world famous Maison ODIOT. A lovely piece, don't miss it!
