Typical 19th century glass liquor set from George Sand, who used these 2 colors of glass often. Kind of a smoky topaz and electric blue - very pleasing to the eye, and displays beautifully in a lighted cabinet when you're not using it to serve your guests aperitif or a nice desert liqueur. The measurements are noted on the photos.
Very good condition for age and type. It would have been from a larger set to begin with, and the decanter would have had a stopper in place. At this point, 150 years on, we're down to just the gorgeous 5 pieces you see: 1 decanter, no stopper, and 4 cordial cups with handles. The pieces that remain are all lovely, in good form. You can often find these little cups to match, wandering the little Paris street markets - in case you love the idea of a project that takes you there.
