Minton Dinner plates, set of 5, date 1891-1912 Made for Davis Collamore & Co., Broadway & 21st St., New York Measurement: 10.25" and 1" deep, Hand written: G6180
Heavy encrusted gold rim on cream border, white centers, and copious amount of gold decoration and raised gold hand applied enamel work. A stunning set of 5 plates for cabinet or table use. I only wish we had 12 - alas, just 5 but in excellent condition.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, no chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no utensil or use marks on tops. Slight crazing to underside glaze, not on tops of plates. Elegant dining, mix/match with other similar Minton raised gold plates for a larger group. Fabulous look!
