Maker: MEISSEN, Germany Set: 12 19th century hand painted fruit bowls All different, fresh flowers bouquet and accented by a bug or butterfly, each one.
Very lovely old Meissen porcelain fruit bowls, 12 in all, and all hand painted one by one. A bouquet of flowers on each and the added charm of a bug, bee, or butterfly on each one. Gold enamel rims elevate them a bit and put them on the most stunning table. Each one is marked with the underglaze Meissen cross swords mark, and they are all immaculate in condition.
Very nice set for dessert or fruit service, or just for display as the little works of art they truly are. Imagine the cost of a set of hand painted plates or bowls today, and you'll find the value a bargain. No chips, no damage I can find at all. Photos show them nicely. Look them over. Measurements noted on images.
