Elegant & rare comprehensive set of vintage 1930 marked Minton dinnerware set with beautiful cobalt blue & frieze style raised gold borders and all in as near pristine condition as one could hope for! The set consists of twelve each in 10 5/8", 8 7/8", 7 3/4" & 6" plates. Missing a few of the cream soup & saucers though, there is a complete service for nine (actually ten soup bowls but nine usable saucers, eleven saucers in all but two have moderately bad hairline cracks and one of the nine usable ones has just a tiny hairline crack). All bear the "Mintons Est. 1793 England" enamel stamp markings, the date marks are there but pressed into the porcelain before glazing and relatively hard to see (and definitely hard to photograph but I believe you can see it in our images and I've also added a small shot showing it from a reference manual). Hand written pattern numbers on all are "H4196", search the internet and you'll see them. Again, rare to find such a comprehensive set and in such remarkable condition. Guaranteed to awe, a set you'll love to own and pass down as family heirloom pieces.
Excellent condition. I've noted the exceptions above. The set actually includes 70 pieces including the tenth soup bowl (no damage to it at all) and the two cracked soup saucers. I just photographed them as a set of nine bowls & saucers since they're usable pairs. The tenth bowl is pristine also but no saucer to go with it though you might be able to find one at a later date. The entire set weighs around 50 lbs and we'll likely need to send in two separate large boxes so shipping will likely be around $150 total despite the online quotes. See pictures for all measurements.
