Unused 19th century needlepoint panels, each with the same exact patterning and making a total of 12 feet in length, 7.5" in width, making it perfect for a long bolster (8 ft panel) and 2 to 4 throw pillows if you're a bit handy. I have made up quite a few of these over the years, and my houses are both full of them. I love the look and the accent of hand worked antique panels, and know designers do, too. All you need is a length of opulent fringe, a few panels of velvet or silk, or even a patterned fabric that compliments the colors, and a sewing machine and couple of hours to make your own. The 3 rolls are mates, and these were made for prayer benches for old churches, but this group have never been made up at all and remain in superb condition. The longest one is 8 feet in length, 7.5" wide. The other 2 are each approximately 4 feet long and 7.5" wide.
Very good to excellent unused condition, ready to work up into fabulous throw or accent pillows, or into some other project you'll be thrilled to display. I love the look of this set with the rich carved wood items from Black Forest carvers, and can see how beautifully they would accent one another (see our final photo). They have no moth damage, no holes, no wear to speak of having never been used. The stitch is a large grospoint, beautifully done and without any warp to the long panels. Colors are the same on each panel, and presented accurately on screen (Apple), with perhaps very slight fade variation here or there, having used different yarn lots, I suppose. You can see that variation in our photos.
