Lovely large antique French hallmarked Belle Epoque or Victorian era sterling silver chocolate or large tea cup & saucer set, each with ornate guilloche style machined or engraved foliage accented pattern and medallion with “M.B.” monogram! Isn't this pair wonderful! Perfect larger size for a breakfast treat, fill it with granola topped yogurt, fresh fruit or even an icy dessert later in the day. The French Minerve or Minerva hallmark on each piece, the tiny number "1" within those marks designate it as being in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). Silversmith marks are for Victor Boivin, Paris c. 1897. One of only a few elegant old French chocolate or tea cup & saucer sets that we currently have available so be sure to browse some while you're with us. We do have a fabulous pair, that’s two cups and two saucers, coming in the next week or so also if you happen to be looking for a set for you and that special someone. Thanks!
Very good to excellent condition. Possibly a tiny dimple or two but, as you can see, there are no larger dents, no damage or repairs. See pictures for measurements. The weights and measurements are noted in our images.
