Elegant Antique French .800 (nearly sterling) Silver Napkin Ring, Ornate, "MP" Monogram
Fantastic antique French sterling silver 2" napkin ring, 80% pure silver with gorgeous Classical or Empire style pattern, interlaced “MP" monogram and fabulous condition! The French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, 2nd quality for .800 silver content (80% pure, just under the .925 standard for sterling silver). Silversmith marks are for Cecile Gruyer, Paris circa 1908-1911. Excellent condition. This one weighs 37 grams, built to last, great condition as you can see from the images. A tiny scuff possible and it has more of a satin rather than high gloss finish but it's in wonderful shape. See pictures for measurements.
