French opaline liqueur decanter, or bedside carafe - maybe a large cologne bottle or suitable to use as one now, though I don't think it was one then. 'Then' is mid-late 1800s. Certainly old French piece, entirely hand made and as charming as they come, with a bouquet of flowers to welcome Spring. Snowing in your part of the world? Not us - it's 80 here today in San Diego. Don't hate us if our trees are in blossom and bud. The floral garlands are all hand enameled onto the glass. Cherished, lo, these past 100- 150 years, it's very near pristine. Great piece, no?
