Fabulous & rare 19th century to earliest 1900s hand carved Black Forest epergne stand, a beautiful miniature chamois or mountain goat sculpture and hand blown cranberry glass flute/vase! A small piece and even more impressive for that reason! Carved from a solid piece of wood with exceptional detail and wonderful condition! The cranberry or ruby glass vase that it displays is also a rare work of art, the top shaped like a lily and simply gorgeous! Don't miss it!
Very good condition! On chip to the upper rear of the wood portion and a small age/drying crack to the lower rear. The tips of the figure's horns are very slightly chipped but no breaks or repairs elsewhere! No damage to those thin legs or ears! No damage whatsoever to the glass! See pictures for measurements.
