This one appears to have been used perhaps one time (note evidence of smoke in the open mouth hole) but it hasn't so much as a bite mark on that stunning old mother of pearl, and the 18k gold is undamaged and shows beautifully. It would be a fabulous gift for the cigar aficionado, and now that wonderful Cuban cigars will be legal, certainly something that will appear with more frequency in posh after-dinner dens. Measurements are noted on the photos.
Very good to excellent, the gold is acid tested and is 18k yellow old. The hand/burin engraved monogram is shown but we'll leave it to you to determine. No dents, no chips, no flaws to note. Has been cleaned thoroughly and shows only a tiny tobacco stained interior. Circa 1880-1910.
Our photos are large and clear. We do expect our customers to review them all, evaluate the item based on both our description and our images. Thanks for all the compliments - we love what we do! Antiques & Uncommon Treasure - all the best, all the time!
