This is a wonderful little late 1800s to 1910 French liqueur service, sans the stopper that probably would have been inside the decanter. But the 6 cups are there and the set is in very nice condition, lovely to bring out for after dinner shot or for aperitif ahead of dinner. Pretty combination of blue and amber, it's a Georges Sand set, we think. There are several noted makers of these sets, the other being Legras. I think Georges Sand on this one. No French home would be without such a service, and they can range to the very grand sets by St. Louis, Baccarat, others, and to these more informal sets. All charming!
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, it's all original but perhaps missing a stopper for the decanter. I think most of these had them though this decanter does not have any rubs that indicate it was used and then lost so it looks lovely just like this. Polished lips, rims, I don't see any chips among them but can feel one tiny rough nip with fingertips on one lip of a cup. No other flaws to note. A lovely and tres French set you'll have such fun with. Measurements noted on photos.
