Fabulous antique French 12pc 8" entremet or dessert knife set with ornate sterling silver & genuine horn handles, original steel blades and immense old world appeal! Aren't these gorgeous! Genuine carved solid horn handles with a unique shape, wonderfully ornate sterling silver collars and a full 12pc set! The blades are all the original old pre 1908 non-stainless steel and marked "Richer" (stainless steel was invented on or around 1908 and so wasn't used in knife blades until several years later). Perfect alongside an existing fine antique French sterling silver service, as elegant and visually appealing as can be. We have one of, if not THE, largest collections of superb antique French sterling silver flatware anywhere so, browse and enjoy!
Very good condition. The horn handles have some very minor scuffing but no age or drying cracks. All have the original steel blades, some with the normal tarnish or corrosion you see but no chips, breaks or repairs to note (not stainless steel). See pictures for measurements.
