Here’s a lovely Victorian wall pocket from about 1875. It’s a white dove with outstretched wings and blossoms and blackberries. There is a maker’s mark of a large script R. There is one damage where one berry stem is missing. Please see photos. Otherwise it is in excellent original condition.
The bird is 6-1/2 inches tall and 4-3/4 inches from wing tip to wing tip. The pocket opening is 2-1/2 by 2 inches. This white bird is attractive and appealing. It would look well in any decor or color scheme.
