This elegant British sterling rattle was probably made for a real infant but it’s petite size makes it perfect for your favorite baby doll. Of course all your other dolls will be jealous of such luxury. It is sterling with a mother-of-pearl handle. Two tiny bells hang from either side and it has a whistle tip. It is fully hallmarked Birmingham, England made in 1901. There is also an unidentified maker’s mark.
It is 2-1/2 long and a scant 5/8 inch wide tapering to 3/8 inch at the tip. Condition is absolutely mint with no damage or wear of any kind. There is a loop to run ribbon thru to hang it around your doll’s neck. A sweet addition to your collection.
